Coronavirus: the first French patient died in Paris
The first French patient infected with the Coronavirus died at night from Tuesday to Wednesday. He is 60 years old and has been hospitalized in “very serious condition” at the La Petite-Salpetier hospital, said Jerome Salomon, general manager of health.
The man was one of three new cases confirmed by the authorities in France. Frenchman was placed in intensive care in Amiens. The 36-year-old man was hospitalized in Strasbourg, without showing signs of seriousness, after his stay in Lombardy.
The virus has been identified in a total of 17 cases of those infected with the Coronavirus in France since the epidemic began.
